This is the Premier League game that everyone has been waiting for. Manchester City meet Liverpool on Sunday afternoon; although the Reds are top of the table, they are not at their best. City have made their worst start to the season under Pep Guardiola, and goals have been an issue for them in the early games. They’ve scored nine goals in just five league games this season. Guardiola has openly admitted that is an issue.
But Gabriel Jesus returned from injury to lead the line in midweek, and Liverpool have conceded more goals than anyone in the Premier League. We think City will win this one with over 3.5 goals is a good bet at 3/1 with Bet365.
Why are we backing Manchester City here?
City have won every home game against Liverpool under Pep Guardiola. The Reds have also struggled to keep a clean sheet this season.
Sergio Agüero has an excellent record against Liverpool, and we think he will score if he is fit. He is a doubt, but at 5/6 with Bet365 to score anytime he could be worth a bet.
What other markets are worth a look?
Draw HT/City FT at 5/1 with Bet365.
