Wolves vs Liverpool

Kick-off: Week 18, Friday 21st December, 20:00

Inform Wolverhampton Wanderers welcome unbeaten Liverpool to Molineux Stadium on Friday night. With Wolves winning three on the bounce coming into this game, they will be full of confidence an possibly believe they can get something from this one. With the win at home over Chelsea a couple of weeks ago, it shows they are able to compete with the best in the league.  However, they will need to be at there absolute best to get something from this one.

What a start to the season it has been for Liverpool! The side are still yet to get beat, top of the league and not looking as if they are going to take their foot off the gas anytime soon. Mohamed Salah has found his best form again in recent weeks which of course, is causing every opponent huge problems. Klopp and his men have a lot to do if they are to win the league and games like these will prove crucial if they are to go all the way.

We can see this one being a very entertaining, end to end encounter between two sides that will be full of confidence.

  • Correct score prediction: Wolves 2 – 3 Liverpool
  • Odds: 16/1

Arsenal vs Burnley

Kick-off: Week 18, Saturday 22nd November, 12:30

Arsenal were stunned last time out as there 22 game unbeaten run came to an end away to Southampton. It was a game they would have expected to win and one many others would have thought the same. It’s fair to say the big players such as Lacazette and Aubameyang had a quite game which then went on to effect the outcome of the game. A good response will be wanted this weekend.

Burnley would have counted themselves very, very unlucky last time out, losing just 1-0 away to Tottenham. It was a 90th-minute goal which stopped them going home with a point which would have been a huge knock for the Burnley players. With Burnley still down near the bottom of the table, it’s important for the club to start picking up points and quickly.

We can’t see Arsenal throwing away any more points this weekend. We think the defeat to Saints on Sunday would have shaken them.

  • Correct score prediction: Arsenal 2 – 0 Burnley
  • Odds: 6/1

Bournemouth vs Brighton

Kick-off: Week 18, Saturday 22nd November, 15:00

A south coast derby coming up this weekend with Bournemouth and Brighton going head to head. Bournemouth had an outstanding start to the season which at one stage saw them climb as high as 6th in the Premier League. However, a run of five defeats in six games has seen them slip down to 11th. It’s not been an easy run of late for the club, but the defeat to Wolves last time out would have been a disappointing one.

Brighton themselves have entered a blip, losing both of there last two games away to Burnley, before a 2-1 loss at home to Chelsea. It’s not been all bad for the side this season, currently, 13th in the league and knowing a win this weekend will take them above the Cherries. Glenn Murray is the biggest threat for the side and is now the 2nd highest goal-scorer in Brighton’s history.

Both sides will see this as a good chance to get back to winning ways. However, with Bournemouth the home team and Brighton always struggling on the road, we can see The Cherries knicking it.

  • Correct score prediction: Bournemouth 1 – 0 Brighton
  • Odds: 6/1

Chelsea vs Leicester

Kick-off: Week 18, Saturday 22nd November, 15:00

Since the defeat to Wolves a couple weeks back, Chelsea have really picked it up. It all started with the 2-0 win over Manchester City which in truth, not many people expected. They maintained that standard on Sunday with a win away to Brighton which has kept them in the top four at the moment.

Leicester have lost back to back matches ahead of there trip to Stamford Bridge which may have taken a knock on the confidence of the players. The defeat to Tottenham may have been expected but the follow-up game with Crystal Palace looked very flat from the Foxes which is unlike them in recent years. We would be surprised if they get back to winning ways or even pick up a point this weekend.

With Chelsea being the home team in this one and going into the game in the better form, we can see them bagging all three points. But don’t expect it to be an easy afternoon for the team.

  • Correct score prediction: Chelsea 3 – 1 Leicester
  • Odds: 12/1

Huddersfield vs Southampton

Kick-off: Week 18, Saturday 22nd November, 15:00

After a good run for Huddersfield which had seen them climb out of the bottom three, they are now back in it having lost all of their last four matches. The most frustrating part for the club will be in each of those games they have lost by just one goal which shows they are in games, but just can’t get the goals to pick up the points they desperately need.

Southampton looked a re-energised team on Sunday afternoon as they beat Arsenal 3-2 at St Mary’s. The change in management could be the best thing Saints could have done at this stage of the season and the return of Danny Ings from injury certainly helped, with the Southampton born player scoring twice in the match.

Going into the game Southampton will be feeling the more confident and with a new man in charge, new idea’s and a team who look as if they want to play for the manager, we think they could get another positive result.

  • Correct score prediction: Huddersfield 0 – 1 Southampton
  • Odds: 5/1

Manchester City vs Crystal Palace

Kick-off: Week 18, Saturday 22nd November, 15:00

The defeat to Chelsea a couple of weeks ago has seen City drop down to 2nd in the Premier League meaning they are now playing catch up. However, with a manager like Pep Guardiola in charge, we’re sure the side won’t start to panic and we certainly don’t think they are going to struggle in a game like this. Aguero and De Bruyne look as if they could be back in action this weekend which would be a huge boost.

Crystal Palace won again on the weekend which has seen them climb away from the bottom three again. They will be well up against it this weekend and if they were to get anything, it would be a huge boost. However, with the way they have played overall this season, we just can’t see them coming anywhere near this City side.

Manchester City will be desperate not to make any mistakes this weekend to give Liverpool a bigger advantage and we certainly don’t see them doing that.

  • Correct score prediction: Manchester City 4 – 1 Crystal Palace
  • Odds: 14/1

Newcastle vs Fulham

Kick-off: Week 18, Saturday 22nd November, 15:00

Newcastle were able to get back to winning ways on the weekend with a 1-0 win over Huddersfield away from home. That was a huge game for the team who were able to get one over a fellow struggler and this is another chance. Rafael Benitez picked up the manager of the month award for November which just shows how well he and his team have done to get out of a mess they were in.

These are the kind of games Fulham must win if they are to stay in the league come to the end of the season. The side are now three points from safety but with a much worse goal difference, they’ll need to find four points from somewhere. It’s unlikely they’ll get many points off the top 6-8 teams so this will prove crucial

For us, Newcastle are the better side and playing the better football which we think will be more than enough to see off this Fulham side who are currently bottom of the Premier League.

  • Correct score prediction: Newcastle 2 – 0 Fulham
  • Odds: 8/1

West Ham vs Watford

Kick-off: Week 18, Saturday 22nd November, 15:00

West Ham are currently in the best form they have shown in seasons in the Premier League with four big wins in a row which has seen them climb up to 9th. After a very poor start to the season, the summer signings are starting to settle in which has seen them fly up the table in no time. Chicharito has been given the nod of late and boy has he delivered with three goals and an assist in two games.

Watford are level on points with West Ham, trailing them just on goal difference at this stage. It was a run of six games without a win for Watford before last weekend as the side were able to beat Cardiff 3-2 on home soil. The worrying thing for the team would be throwing away two late goals which made it a nervy last few minutes for the side. At 3-0 up, you’d have expected them to see it out a lot more comfortably.

West Ham come into this game in the much better form and will be full of confidence. With that in mind, we expect them to bag all three points yet again this weekend.

  • Correct score prediction: West Ham 2 – 1 Watford
  • Odds: 9/1

Cardiff vs Manchester United

Kick-off: Week 18, Saturday 22nd November, 17:30

Cardiff were beaten last time out away to Watford. They looked down and out of the game up until the 80th minute as they got two goals in two minutes, bringing the score back to 3-2. However, they were unable to get the third which would have been a huge disappointment. The side are now just two points above the bottom three and have a tough run coming up.

Manchester United lost away to Liverpool on Sunday evening with a performance that wasn’t talked about highly by pundits which included Manchester United legends Gary Neville and Roy Keane. Things just don’t seem right at the club at the minute and the players don’t seem as if they are right behind manage, Jose Mourinho.

Although Manchester United have been poor this season, we cannot see them losing to this Cardiff side. The Blue Birds have a lot of work to do if they are to stay in the league come to the end of the season.

  • Correct score prediction: Cardiff 1 – 2 Manchester United

Everton vs Tottenham

Kick-off: Week 18, Saturday 23rd November, 16:00

Game week 18 finished up on Merseyside as Everton welcome Tottenham to Goodison Park. Everton find themselves on a poor run of form, without a win in four games, drawing two and losing the other two. Well, it doesn’t get any easier this Monday night and if they are to get anything from this, they must start taking there chances in games. Every time we have watched them this season, they have wasted a lot of chances.

Tottenham managed to climb up to 3rd in the Premier League last weekend with Arsenal losing and Spurs bagging a 90th-minute winner thanks to Eriksen at home to Burnley. Harry Kane has yet again been the main man for the club with nine wins and three assists already. With Spurs buying no one in the summer, many expected them to flop, but they are currently in the process of proving those people wrong.

We can see them one being a good game between two solid sides. Everton will make it very tough and hostile for Tottenham which could make it hard for Spurs to bag all three points.

  • Correct score prediction: Everton 1 – 1 Tottenham
  • Odds: 5/1
