EPL week 14 predictions

Cardiff vs Wolves

Kick-off: Week 14, Friday 30th November, 20:00

We will start of the EPL week 14 predictions with Cardiff vs Wolves. Cardiff will come into this game knowing they have a very good chance to get three points on the board which could be enough to see them climb out the bottom three. It’s been a tough season for Cardiff up to now and come into this one with three defeats in there last four matches. However, the win over Brighton a couple of weeks ago would have given them the belief they can compete in the Premier League.

After a very bright start to life in the Premier League for Wolves, they have since slumped and will face Cardiff having lost four and drawn one of there last five matches. This has seen the side drop down to 11th in the table, but still leaves them eight points clear of the drop. However, with still way over half the season remaining, points are still so important to pick up and this week is one they will be desperate to win, especially after the home defeat to Huddersfield on Sunday.

Both sides have been struggling of late which makes it a very hard one to call. Cardiff have more to play for at the minute, currently sat in 19th position, but Wolves will still be wanting to get points on the board early. A score draw looks a likely result in this one.

● Correct score prediction: Cardiff 1 – 1 Wolves
● Odds: 11/2

Crystal Palace vs Burnley

Kick-off: Week 14, Saturday 1st December, 15:00

Two of the league’s early strugglers go head to head on Saturday with Palace welcoming Burnley to Selhurst Park. Crystal Palace will come into this one with lifted spirits after the draw with Manchester United last time out. If they can produce the same kind of performance this weekend, they will no doubt get a positive result against an easier opponent.

Just like Crystal Palace, Burnley have won just two games this season which has left them one place and one point above the bottom three. They will know this could be a big game in their season, but it’s just as big for there opponents which could shape this one up to be an entertaining encounter. A clean sheet last time out against Leicester would have lifted the spirits within the squad, but another top defensive display will be needed this weekend.

Another very difficult game to call this one with both teams really struggling near the bottom of the table. They will both know this game could be the difference come to the end of the season which could make it a goal fest.

● Correct score prediction: Crystal Palace 3 – 1 Burnley
● Odds: 14/1

Huddersfield vs Brighton

Kick-off: Week 14, Saturday 1st December, 15:00

Huddersfield will face Brighton this weekend currently in the best form they have shown all season. They have won two and drawn one of there last three games which has quickly lifted them two points above the bottom three. They will want to make this form count to try and get another positive result and increase the gap between themselves and the dreaded relegation zone.

It could be the best time to play Brighton with the south coast club without a win in three, including two defeats. However, Brighton will see this as a good chance to get back to winning ways but should not underestimate this Huddersfield side. As proven already this season, the Huddersfield fans are creating a very tough environment to play in for away teams.

Huddersfield will be full of confidence coming into this game and will be desperate to get another win under there belts. But Brighton will have very different ideas and will want to bring Huddersfield back down from cloud nine.

● Correct score prediction: Huddersfield 1 – 1 Brighton
● Odds: 5/1

Leicester vs Watford

Kick-off: Week 14, Saturday 1st December, 15:00

Leicester are unbeaten in four games going into this game with Watford, but the frustrating thing for Claude Puel and his men will be three of those have been draws. If they were able to turn even one of those into a victory, they could be much higher than 10th at this stage. Like always, Jamie Vardy has led the line well for Leicester very well, causing defences all around the country all kind of problems.

Watford are currently above Leicester in the Premier League but have hit a bit of a blip in recent weeks having lost to Newcastle, drawn to Southampton and most recently being thumped at home to Liverpool. Andre Gray has been the biggest threat for Watford so far this season with three goals to his name as well as the Watford hero Troy Deeney who has bagged two.

Leicester have the better recent form coming into this one but on their day Watford are a very tough team to break down and win against. An interesting game this one but we can see it being low scoring and very end to end.

● Correct score prediction: Leicester 1 – 0 Watford
● Odds: 11/2

Manchester City vs Bournemouth

Kick-off: Week 14, Saturday 1st December, 15:00

Week in, week out we keep saying the same about this Manchester City side. They have been by far the best team in the league for the last couple of seasons and are showing that again every time they go out onto the pitch. Sergio Aguero seems to be getting even better the older he gets and is getting on the score sheet more than not yet again this season. City have lost just two Premier League games in there last 60. Let that sink in.

Bournemouth have had a very good season up to now and are currently sat 8th in the league. However, they have found the worst possible time to have a blip and its a big one with three defeats on the bounce. If they play as they have been, Manchester City will knock it around them in no time and have a very easy afternoon.

It’s impossible to back against this Manchester City side at the moment whoever they are up against. Bournemouth will travel to the Etihad with a game plan but it would be a huge surprise if the City attack doesn’t break down Bournemouth.

● Correct score prediction: Manchester City 3 – 0 Bournemouth
● Odds: 7/1

Newcastle vs West Ham

Kick-off: Week 14, Saturday 1st December, 15:00

Just like Huddersfield, Newcastle have really turned it around in recent weeks with two wins on the bounce and no defeat in three which has seen them leapfrog out the bottom three. Its been a lack of goals which has really had an impact on Newcastle but once they get firing, Toon could really be a team to watch.

West Ham spent very big in the summer and really struggled to get going. However, The Hammers have now climbed up to 13th in the Premier League and are playing some much better football. They will still know it’s going to be a long season and are still just four points above the relegation zone but the big summer signings look as if they are starting to settle in nicely.

West Ham suffered a heavy defeat to Manchester City last time out and will be looking for an instant response in this one. Newcastle will want to try and maintain this the form they are currently in to get as many points on the board as possible before the busy Christmas period.

● Correct score prediction: Newcastle 2 – 1 West Ham
● Odds: 10/1

Southampton vs Manchester United

Kick-off: Week 14, Saturday 1st December, 17:30

Southampton now find themselves in the bottom three of the Premier League with just eight points after thirteen matches. The poor start has seen them win just once which is shocking really for a team like The Saints. The defeat to Fulham last time out after going in front would have been a huge knock to the confidence of the players heading into this game.

United will be very disappointed with the draw with Crystal Palace last time out and will be keen to put it right this weekend as they travel down to the south coast. United have been very hit and miss so far this season. On there day, they will tear teams apart, but they don’t do it often enough which opens it up for teams to take advantage.

It’s really hard to see Southampton getting out of this slump anytime soon, but if they can this weekend they may well kick-start there season. Manchester United, as mentioned above, will want an instant response this weekend to keep the pressure on the teams above.

● Correct score prediction: Southampton 1 – 2 Manchester United
● Odds: 8/1

Chelsea vs Fulham

Kick-off: Week 14, Sunday 2nd December, 12:00

What a Super Sunday we have coming up. Three massive rivals in the space of just a few hours! Chelsea welcome Fulham in the first meeting between these two since 2014. Chelsea have drawn three of there last four Premier League matches which would have frustrated the Chelsea manager massively. The Blues also suffered there first defeat of the season last weekend with Tottenham scoring three first-half goals to win the game 3-1.

Fulham will know they are massive underdogs for this game but will be looking forward to the prospect of playing their local rivals for the first time in four years. Although this Fulham team need points and need them quickly, they are not expected to get anything from the top six teams throughout the season but if they do it will be a huge bonus. The win over fellow strugglers Southampton last time out would have given them some confidence, but this game is a much bigger task.

Only one winner for us this weekend. Chelsea are by far the better team and are in the much better form. Fulham did win last time out and Mitrovic is looking a big threat, but Chelsea will prove too much for them this weekend.

● Correct score prediction: Chelsea 3 – 0 Fulham
● Odds: 7/1

Arsenal vs Tottenham

Kick-off: Week 14, Sunday 2nd December, 14:05

The second of the Derbys sees Arsenal host Tottenham in the first North London Derby of the season and what a game this one looks as if it’s going to be. Arsenal are now 17 games without a defeat and don’t look as if they are going to be beaten anytime soon. Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is proving to be a bargain for the Gunners and is scoring on a very regular basis which is going a very long way.

Tottenham were able to put a holt to Chelsea’s unbeaten start to the season last Saturday, winning 3-1 at Wembley. A win for Spurs this weekend will see them climb six points above Arsenal but a defeat will see there bitter rivals jump above them just showing how much rides on these 90 minutes. Just like the last couple of seasons, Harry Kane is the main man for Spurs and has proven his worth so far yet again this campaign. Everyone knows Kane loves a London Derby.

Whenever these two meet, it never disappoints. There is going to be so much talent on show with the likes of Dele Alli, Harry Kane, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacezzete and co all fit and ready to go. We’re going for a long shot North London Derby classic this weekend.

● Correct score prediction: Arsenal 3 – 3 Tottenham
● Odds: 33/1

Liverpool vs Everton

Kick-off: Week 14, Sunday 2nd December, 16:15

What a way to end on a Sunday afternoon this is with yet another huge Derby as Liverpool welcome Everton to Anfield. Liverpool will feel like this is a great chance to get another good win over their local rivals with the side still unbeaten this season and second in the Premier League. The front three of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Robert Firmino is making it very hard for any defenders to control them which is what we’re expecting more of this weekend.

Everton will be happy with the way they have started the season and do come into this one with just one defeat in there last five matches which puts them in good stead to face Liverpool. However, out of all those games, this is by far the hardest and one they will need to be at there best if they are to even get close to there rivals. Scoring goals has been the problem since the departure of Romelu Lukaku but that issue seems to be resolved with the side scoring 20 goals in 13 games up to now.

Although we feel Liverpool are going to win this one, we know Everton are not going to make it easy. The Blue side of Merseyside are a very good side themselves and can be very hard to break down.

● Correct score prediction: Liverpool 2 – 0 Everton
● Odds: 7/1
