EPL week 13 predictions

Brighton vs Leicester

Kick-off: Week 13, Saturday 24th November, 15:00

Brighton have had a very hit and miss season up till now and recent form has summed that up leading into this game with Leicester at the Amex. The Seagulls had won three on the bounce before a run of two straight defeats which would have knocked the confidence of the players going into the international break. After a rest, they could be ready to go again.

Things will still be raw for the Leicester City players after the tragic news surrounding there much-loved owner not long ago. However, they will want to do him proud on the pitch from now on which could really push them onto the levels they were once playing at. With Jamie Vardy in your team and in-form, you will always have chances and always score goals.

Leicester come into this game in the better form having had three games without defeat, but Brighton have made it very hard for teams to beat them at home. With that all in mind, we’re going for a score draw.

Correct score prediction: Brighton 1 – 1
Odds: 11/2

Everton vs Cardiff

Kick-off: Week 13, Saturday 24th November, 15:00

Everton will be full of confidence coming into this one with just one defeat in five, which was a defeat away to Manchester United, and a draw away to Chelsea before the international break. They will look at this game as a must win if they are going to challenge for a European spot come the end of the season and in truth, we don’t see them slipping up.

Before a ball had been kicked this season, many had backed this Cardiff team to face the drop and up until now, you can fairly say those people had a point. However, they are starting to pick up points and with two wins in four, it has seen them on the brink of climbing out the bottom three. This game could be a step too far for the side, but they are giving themselves a chance.

As mentioned, Everton are in the better form and in fairness are the better outfit. We can’t see the Toffees slipping up this weekend and we think it could end up being a comfortable afternoon for the home team.

Correct score prediction: Everton 3 – 0 Cardiff
Odds: 9/1

Fulham vs Southampton

Kick-off: Week 13, Saturday 24th November, 15:00

A huge game at the bottom of the Premier League this one with Fulham welcoming Southampton to Craven Cottage. Fulham will know if they are to stay up this season, they have to win these kind of games, especially at home. With Claudio Ranieri now in charge, we could see a refreshed Fulham team, but it’ll need to be a quick turn around to solve their problems.

Southampton have slumped in the last couple of years showing you can only go so long selling your best players and competing for European football. You could say they are lucky to be in the Premier League after a escape last campaign but things don’t look as if they have changed which will worry Saints fans.

As stated above, this is a huge game for both sides with a lot on the line. Fulham have really been struggling for goals and will need to solve that quickly. For Saints, it’s mainly been keeping clean sheets which has proven tough.

Correct score prediction: Fulham 0 – 1
Odds: 10/1

Manchester United vs Crystal Palace

Kick-off: Week 13, Saturday 24th November, 15:00

Manchester United will be looking to bounce back from there defeat to bitter rivals Manchester City this weekend with Crystal Palace in town. United have looked a lot better over the last couple of months and bar the last defeat, they have been in good form and picking up regular points. They are now just four points from fifth meaning every game is massive for Jose Mourinho’s men.

Crystal Palace are not having the season they would have wanted at the beginning of the season. The side are in 16th position, level on points with Cardiff and Southampton who are just below them as it stands. If they don’t start picking up points soon, they could find themselves in the relegation zone and with form like they have, it can sometimes be hard to get back to winning ways.

A big game for both sides for very different seasons. United need the win to keep the pressure on the teams above and Palace need the win to really kick start there season. But for us, we only see one winner.

Correct score prediction: Manchester United 2 – 0 Crystal Palace
Odds: 13/2

Watford vs Liverpool

Kick-off: Week 13, Saturday 24th November, 15:00

For Watford, it has been an outstanding start to the season. Currently sat in 7th with 20 points on the board. However, a defeat to Newcastle and a last-gasp draw with Southampton in there last two games before the international break would have been disappointing for the club and something they will want to put right as they welcome Liverpool this weekend.

However, Liverpool will have very different ideas. Currently sat in 2nd, just two points behind Manchester City, Liverpool will not want to drop points this weekend and give teams the chance to jump above them and get away from them. With the front three of Mane, Firmino and Salah, we can’t see The Reds having any problems.

Watford have been good this season, but that is for there standards. Liverpool have been good this season and are currently keeping up with last seasons run-away winners, Manchester City, and will want to keep that up this weekend.

Correct score prediction: Watford 1 – 3 Liverpool
Odds: 12/1

West Ham vs Manchester City

Kick-off: Week 13, Saturday 24th November, 15:00

West Ham come into this one without a defeat in three games but would have been disappointed to have not got all three points at Huddersfield before the international break. After a big summer clear out and many new signings, it’ll take some time for this side to gel, but once they do The Hammers really could be challenging in the top half once again.

We’re starting to run out of things to say for this Manchester City team. They have been proving week in, week out for the last couple of seasons what a great side they are and you’d expect them to have no problems this weekend. Raheem Sterling has been in outstanding form this season and his pace could yet again prove too much for another defence on Saturday afternoon.

Yes, West Ham have been playing well and picking up points, but we just can’t back against this Manchester City team.

Correct score prediction: West Ham 1 – 4 Manchester City
Odds: 16/1

<h2?tottenham vs=”” chelsea<=”” h2=””> </h2?tottenham>

Kick-off: Week 13, Sunday 24th November, 17:30

What a game this is to finish off the Premier League football on Saturday. Tottenham will go into this game full of confidence with four wins from five matches. Harry Kane will be full of confidence after his dramatic late winner for England last weekend which sealed his countries spot in next summers Nations League finals.

Chelsea will be looking to extend their unbeaten run this season. The Blues currently sit in 3rd position, two points behind Liverpool in second and four points adrift of Manchester City leading the Premier League. Alvaro Morata has hit some form recently and is playing with a lot more confidence. A goal in this one and it could be the start of a successful season for the Spaniard.

A good game which we expect to be a very close encounter. Both sides are in good form and both sides will want to get one over there local rivals.

Correct score prediction: Tottenham 2 – 3 Chelsea
Odds: 28/1

Bournemouth vs Arsenal

Kick-off: Week 13, Sunday 25th November, 13:30

Two straight defeats for Bournemouth would have brought them back from cloud 9, however, the Cherries are still sat in 6th position and in a great position at this stage of the season. This will be a very tough test for the team but if they play as they have at times this season, they have a chance of beating this Arsenal team.

Arsenal will be thinking very differently and are still on an outstanding run which has now stretched to 16 games without defeat. It’s fair to say Emeri has had some impact on the Gunners since his arrival in the summer. His new ideas and strategies have worked wonders for the team and up till now, it looks as if the players have brought into him.

Bournemouth have been playing very well and will see this as another opportunity to show the league what they can do. Arsenal are becoming very hard to beat whether at home or away and will want nothing short of three points from this game.

Correct score prediction: Bournemouth 1 – 2 Arsenal
Odds: 8/1

Wolves vs Huddersfield

Kick-off: Week 13, Saturday 25th November, 16:00

After Wolves promotion to the Premier League, last season and the huge summer spend, they have had a good start to life in the Premier League but come into this game without a win in four games and three defeats in that time. They will be looking to put recent form to bed this weekend and it seems like a very good chance to do it.

Huddersfield have had a poor season up till now but were able to go two games without defeat before the international break. This looks like a tough match for them away from home but one they do have a chance of getting some points from. The problem for Huddersfield is even if they do play well, Wolves potentially have the quality to still win.

When we look at these two sides, we see Wolves as the better team and being the home team, we think they will see off Huddersfield

Correct score prediction: Wolves 1 – 0 Huddersfield
Odds: 5/1

Burnley vs Newcastle

Kick-off: Week 13, Sunday 26th November, 20:00

After the heroics of last season for Burnley, they have been hit back to reality this season, currently just one point above the bottom three and struggling to keep clean sheets. The side are without a win in seven and have been conceding goals very frequently which would have had a major impact on the confidence of the players.

Newcastle looked as if they were struggling but a run of three games without a defeat and two wins on the bounce has seen them jump out of the bottom three. Newcastle always seem to find a way of turning a difficult situation good at the right time and it seems they are on there way to doing just that yet again. Having a top manager like Rafa Benitez in charge really helps.

With the number of goals Burnley are conceding at the moment and the form of Newcastle, I think we could be on for an away win this upcoming Monday.

Correct score prediction: Burnley 2 – 0 Newcastle United
Odds: 8/1
