fulham vs cardiff prediction

Tottenham v West Ham

Kick-off: Week 36, Saturday 27th April, 12:30

Tottenham will be looking to maintain their strong position in the top four this weekend as they welcome West Ham to the New Tottenham Stadium. Since they have moved into their new stadium, they are yet to be beaten at home and have not yet conceded which is a record they will want to try and keep for as long as possible.

West Ham have had a poor back end to the season which has seen them slip well away from a chance of getting European football and now the side have nothing to play for. This sometimes can make a side play better as there is no pressure but it can also see sides take their foot off the gas which is what we can see happening in this one.

We can’t see Spurs slipping up in the one, they have way too much on the line which a top-four finish still yet to be confirmed.

  • Correct score prediction: Tottenham 2 – 0 West Ham
  • Odds: 8/1

Crystal Palace v Everton

Kick-off: Week 36, Saturday 27th April, 15:00

Crystal Palace’s solid end to the season has seen them fly to safety with 42 points on the board with three games to go. They are another side who don’t have anything to play for anymore but will be keen to have a good end to the campaign to give them something to build on going into next season.

Everton still have a very good chance of getting European football next season with the side just two points adrift of Wolves at this stage. After an awful middle of the season, Everton are showing us what many were expecting to see from them this season which is a good sign for them going into next season.

A tough one to call this as both sides on their day can beat anyone in the Premier League. Because it’s tough, we’re going for a score draw.

  • Correct score prediction: Crystal Palace 1 – 1 Everton
  • Odds: 7/1

Fulham v Cardiff

Kick-off: Week 36, Saturday 27th April, 15:00

This is one of the biggest games of the season for Cardiff as they travel to already relegated Fulham in the hunt of a very important three points. Fulham have been picking up more wins since relegation was confirmed which is a good thing for them under the new boss Scott Parker going into next season.

Cardiff will know if they are to stay in the Premier League they must go to Craven Cottage this weekend and bag all three points and nothing less. They need at least 4 points to stay in the league as their goal difference is so poor and with two tough games coming up, they will feel this one will either make or break them.

Although Cardiff have been poor away from home this season, we can really see them getting something from this one.

  • Correct score prediction: Fulham 1 – 2 Cardiff
  • Odds: 14/1

Southampton v Bournemouth

Kick-off: Week 36, Saturday 27th April, 15:00

Southampton have won more games in 2019 already then they did in the whole of 2018 which shows what a great job Ralph Hassenhutl is doing at the club. They can secure safety this weekend with a win or if Cardiff fails to win at Fulham which seems too good to be true after huge fears of the drop less than 2 months ago.

Bournemouth have nothing to play for now this season but will want to go out in this one and give there fans something to cheer for in this local derby match. After an outstanding start to the season, the Cherries have really struggled to kick on but you’d think a couple of new players and they could be challenging higher.

Southampton are starting to look a great side under the new gaffer and we think they will get to the all-important 40 points mark in this one.

  • Correct score prediction: Southampton 3 – 1 Bournemouth
  • Odds: 18/1

Watford v Wolves

Kick-off: Week 36, Saturday 27th April, 15:00

What a game this is as the two teams that played in the FA Cup semifinal at Wembley a few weeks ago will go head to head in a huge match where the winner will get the advantage in the race for the 7th place position and a European spot. Watford got the win on that day which will put them in good stead going into this one.

Wolves have not been scared to step up this season and considering this is their first season back in the Premier League, they have done amazingly well. Wolves currently have the advantage in the hunt for 7th place and will want to make sure they put on a good show in this one to try and go back to the Midlands with all three points.

We can see this one being one of the watches of the weekend with both sides desperate to get that 7th position.

  • Correct score prediction: Watford 2 – 3 Wolves
  • Odds: 26/1

Brighton v Newcastle

Kick-off: Week 36, Saturday 27th April, 17:30

Brighton will know a win in this one will give them a huge advantage over Cardiff in the fight for survival and if they win and Cardiff lose, they will be all but safe with the huge advantage they have with goal difference. Form, in general, has been poor for Brighton which has put them in this position and one they will want to try and get out off still in the Premier League.

Newcastle have managed to climb up to 13th in the Premier League and now have 41 points on the board which has secured their safety in the Premier League. The future of Rafael Benitez is still undecided with the Spaniard still yet to sign a new deal at the club. If they were to lose him, it would be a huge loss for the club.

With Brighton needing this one to basically stay in the league, we expect them to turn up and really take the game to Newcastle

  • Correct score prediction: Brighton 1 – 0 Newcastle
  • Odds: 16/1

Leicester v Arsenal

Kick-off: Week 36, Sunday 28th April, 12:00

Leicesters chances of finishing in the top 7 are slowly getting slimmer and slimmer. Although they are just three points off, there are three other sides above them who will need to slip up probably more than once each if they are to keep up. Brendan Rogers has had a good start to life at Leicester and the Foxes fans should be excited for coming seasons.

Arsenal need to win this game if they are to have any chance of finishing in the top four. If it wasn’t for the Gunners very poor away form, Arsenal would have already comfortably secured Champions League for next season but with just one clean sheet away from home all season, it’s hard to see it getting much better for Emeries men this weekend.

With Arsenals poor away from, it is hard to back them getting all three points from this game.

  • Correct score prediction: Leicester 1 – 1 Arsenal
  • Odds: 6/1

Burnley v Manchester City

Kick-off: Week 36, Sunday 28th April, 14:05

Burnley are another side who will be playing in the Premier League again next season after a good end to the season has seen them get to the all-important 40 points mark. They will be looking to cause a major upset to the title race this weekend and give Liverpool a hand.

Manchester City will know they are going to have to win three games out of three if they are to win the Premier League with Liverpool looking relentless and keeping the pressure on the whole way. Raheem Sterling, Sergio Aguero and co will feel like they have enough to win this game, it’s just whether they can handle the pressure.

With the title riding on this game, we really think Manchester City will go home with all three points.

  • Correct score prediction: Burnley 0 – 2 Manchester City
  • Odds: 10/1

Manchester United v Chelsea

Kick-off: Week 36, Sunday 28th April, 16:30

Two teams who are fighting desperately for the top four are Manchester United and Chelsea who will go head to head at Old Trafford this weekend. Manchester United have had a shocking start to life under Ole Gunnar Soljkaer as permanent manager with seven defeats in nine matches.

Chelsea will know they have a very good chance of beating Manchester United at the moment as they are playing very badly and will be lacking confidence. Chelsea, on the other hand, will know on there day they can beat any side in the league, especially if Eden Hazard turns up and plays at his best.

A very tough one to call this but when two great team go head to head, it’s tough to see a difference between them.

  • Correct score prediction: Manchester United 1 – 1 Chelsea
  • Odds: 10/1
