Arsenal vs Aston Villa
The FA cup final has produced classics year on year and I am anticipating a hugely entertaining tie between two attacking minded sides. Tim Sherwood has been welcomed by his players and he has done an outstanding job in rejuvenating the side. The likes of young Grealish have injected a degree of youthful exuberance which Paul Lambert’s side was severely lacking. Most importantly, he has got Christian Benteke firing all cylinders and if Aston Villa are going to cause an upset, it will almost certainly be thanks to Aston Villa’s star man. On the other hand, FA Cup holders Arsenal have all the pressure, as they did last season. There is no doubting Arsenal’s quality, we have seen some outstanding performances from Arsene Wenger’s side but they are susceptible to shock defeats in big matches which provides the fans with a certain level of uncertainty. However, Arsenal signed off their Premiership campaign with a strong victory against West Brom and I expect them to carry forward that performance to Wembley. Aston Villa will be a handful but I can’t see past the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Cazorla etc to deliver the goods on the big occasion.
