The winners of the UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid and the winners of the UEFA Europa League, Manchester United face off today in Macedonia in what promises to be an exciting encounter. Jose Mourinho, a Real Madrid ex manager, has an ego the size of the world and please do not be fooled by his sweet talk tactics of praising Real Madrid. He wants this trophy and will never seriously consider himself an underdog. Meanwhile on the other hand, Zinedine Zidane, calm as ever explains that his team is ready for this match and obviously wants to win the cup as he considers it a prestigious trophy altogether. Zidane also said that it would be nice to go on and win the set of cups that come with winning the Champions league.
Both managers are expected to field their best 11. Initially it was though that Ronaldo would be given an extra few days off, having participated in the Confederations cup, however it seems as though he has been training with the squad of late. Another question mark was Gareth Bale. With Mourinho ready to pounce on the transfer market, Bale has not been in top condition and in doubt as to whether he will have a starting spot with Zidane’s 4-3-3.
