Real Madrid vs Athletic Bilbao

Real Madrid have overcome their early season blip. The star-studded squad has finally started producing displays worthy of European Champions, much to the relief of Head Coach Carlo Ancelotti. Bilbao are struggling for goals at the moment, scoring only one in their last three fixtures. I expect Real Madrid to control the game, limiting Bilbao to a couple of half-chances at best. The attacking talent of Ronaldo, Bale, etc. will be too much to handle for Valverde’s men and he must pull off a tactical masterstroke to gain any points at the Bernebau.

Prediction 4-0 -Real Madrid to thump Bilbao 4-0 at incredible odds of 11/1 at Bet365 HERE!

Rayo Vallecano vs Barcelona

The Catalan Giants continued with their strong domestic campaign by trashing Granada 6-0 at the Nou Camp. Their champions league defeat against PSG will not effect their confidence, however there might be a hint of fatigue creeping into Barcelona. Rayo have began the season solidly, sitting comfortably in the middle of the table. I suspect that Barcelona will start off slowly due to a continental hangover, however will edge this tie over 90 minutes.

Valencia vs Atletico Madrid

Santo will be delighted with Valencia’s start to the season. They welcome the reigning Spanish Champions full of confidence, but must be on top form against Simeone’s side. Atletico Madrid relish these encounters, and as proven at the Bernebau they fear no one on their travels. Once again, Atletico Madrid showed what they are capable of last week against Sevilla, and I expect more of the same. This is a crucial tie as the winner will see either one gain a stronghold on second position. I suspect a tight affair, with neither side not taking many s. Score-draw.

Bayern Munich vs Hannover

One of Pep Guardiola’s biggest challenges is maintaining the excellent standards that the German powerhouse is capable of. There is a fine line between complacency and confidence, which often explains mediocre performances against sides of lesser quality. Their trip to Russia will certainly help Hannover’s cause, but I highly doubt it will be enough to effect the outcome of this match. Bayern Munich have the quality that is capable of winning each Bundesliga fixture home and away, and the Bavarians will be looking forward to a comfortable fixture on home soil to cement their place at the top of the table.

Dortmund vs Hamburg

Jurgen Klopp has surely taken Dortmund as far as they can go. The tendency of selling all their stars to their biggest rivals seems to have deflated a squad that only recently narrowly lost out in the Champions League final. Dortmund will be looking forward to an easier opponent in the shape of last placed Hamburg, as they need to kickstart their Bundesliga campaign and start climbing up the table. Hamburg have gained just two points from 6 games and I don’t see them adding to their tally due to their uninspired form both home and away. Comfortable home win expected.

Prediction 2-0 – Dortmund to win the first half, £100 returns £172! BACK IT HERE !

PSG vs Monaco

PSG’s form is baffling. It is clear that their riches has contributed to their previous domestic championships. However, their European ambitions have taken centre stage as proven against Barcelona midweek. The owners are desperate to establish the Parisians in Europe and complacency seems to have crept into their side who may have taken Ligue 1 a bit too lightly. Monaco are obviously struggling after selling star duo, Radamel Falcao and James Rodriguez. PSG must be buzzing after overcoming Barcelona and I fully expect them to carry on their form against Monaco, with or without the injured Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Prediction 2-0 – Back PSG to win on home soil. CLAIM YOUR BONUS HERE !
