Borussia Dortmund vs Hoffenheim
Dortmund slumped to yet another defeat last weekend and for the first time this season a chorus of boos sounded around the usually rocking Westfalenstadion. The Yellows remain rooted to the foot of the Bundesliga and the board have admitted that they are now in a relegation battle this season. Jurgen Klopp, normally so cool and upbeat, told critical fans that if they only want success they can go and support Bayern, possibly a sign that the pressure is getting to him too. Without talisman Marco Reus, Dortmund are struggling for goals and I fear their attacking woes will continue on Friday night.

Bayern Munich vs Bayer Leverkusen
It’s 1st vs 3rd in the late kick-off at the Allianz Arena on Saturday evening as Bayern take on Leverkusen in what promises to be a feisty affair. The champions currently boast a 10-point lead over their rivals and although I’m anticipating a tight game, I cannot see anything other than a Bayern win here. Pep Guardiola’s charges have continued to steamroll through anyone put in front of them, whilst their title challengers on the other hand, have dropped points in recent weeks. Leverkusen have scored plenty of goals this season but I feel they will find it tough to break down a Bayern defence that has conceded just 3 goals in 13 games so far this season.

Real Madrid vs Celta Vigo
Without a doubt the Galacticos are the best team on the planet at the moment and their incredible winning running shows no signs of ending any time soon. Ancelotti’s reserves hammered Cornella in the Copa Del Rey on Tuesday night to make it 17 consecutive victories, scoring 75 goals in the process! Ancelotti could not have dreamt for a better start to the season with his side topping the La Liga, qualifying top of their Champions League group and into the last 16 of the Copa Del Rey.

The Nou Camp is the venue for the first Catalan derby of the season as Luis Enrique aim to close the gap on Real Madrid at the top of the table. Espanyol have not beaten their neighbours for over five years and have lost the past five encounters between the two teams. Both these sides enjoyed easy victories in midweek against lesser opposition but Barcelona had the luxury of resting their key players for this clash. These derbies have a history of being heated affairs and so do not be surprised if we see a red card or two on Saturday.

PSG vs Nantes
Both PSG and leaders Marseille drew in the midweek round of fixtures meaning the gap at the top remains just one point. Despite this blip however, the Parisiens are brimming with confidence having won their previous nine games in all competitions. Laurent Blanc will be eager for his side to return to winning ways against Nantes and ensure they finish the year in style before the Christmas break. I fully expect PSG to get all three points from this game with a comfortable victory at the Parc des Princes.
