Our cheeky ACCA is Arsenal, Juventus and City are at odds off 2.25
Bayer Leverkusen vs Tottenham
With just one point separating these two sides in Group E neither team can afford to drop more points as they look to top this group and aim for an easy draw in the knock out stages. The home side conceded a late goal to draw in Monaco while Spurs bounced back from their opening round defeat by beating CSKA Moscow in Russia. I expect a exciting score draw.
Prediction 1-1 – A draw is at odds of 3.20
Sporting CP vs Borussia Dortmund
Sporting collected their first three points of the group stages when Legia Warzawa paid a visit almost one month ago while Borussia Dortmund showed they are no pushovers by holding reigning Champions League holders Real Madrid in an exciting 2-2 draw. I reckon the Germans have enough to win this.
Prediction – 1-2 – An away win is at odds of 2.75
Leicester City vs FC Koebenhavn
Despite a poor start to their domestic campaign, reigning Premier League champions Leicester maintained their superb start to their debut Champions League campaign by beating Porto at the King Power Stadium. Danish minnows FC Koebenhavn were superb as they knocked four past a hapless Club Brugge to move to second in their group on four points. Considering they’re poor run of domestic form I reckon the visitors can do enough to hold out for a draw.
Prediction – 1-1 – A draw is at odds of 3.30
Lyon vs Juventus
Lyon’s domestic form has been far from perfect as they linger in 5th place in Ligue 1, 10 points off league leaders Nice. Juventus on the otherhand already seem to have one hand on the Scudetto as they march towards their 6th consecutive Scudetto. This will be a close game of football however I predict an away win for Juventus who’s experience should see them through.
Prediction – 1-2 – An away win is at odds of 1.66
Arsenal vs Ludogorets Razgrad
After drawing their opening group fixture in Paris, Arsenal made easy work of Swiss side Basel with Theo Walcott grabbing a brace in a 2-0 win to move up to joint top spot in the group on four points. After holding out for a draw in their opening game Ludogorets Razgrad lacked the quality to hold a superior PSG side at bay as the Bulgarian side look to be in for another tough night at the Emirates Stadium. Eacy home win expected.
Prediction 3-0 – A home win @-2 goals is at odds of 1.90
Napoli vs Besiktas
Napoli succumbed to a shock 1-3 defeat to Roma in the Serie A last weekend however the Nepolitans boast a 100% record in Europe so far. Besiktas were held by lowly Dynamo Kyiv in September and I predict a comfortable home win for Napoli.
Prediction 2-1 – A home win is at odds of 1.36
Barcelona vs Manchester City
One of the most anticipated clashes of the group stages takes place on Wednesday night as Barcelona entertain Manchester City at the Nou Camp with Pep Gaurdiola returning to his former stomping ground with the Sky Blues of Manchester. Barca boast a 100% record so far in the group stages while City were held in an enticing 3-3 draw at Celtic in round 2 as both sides look to win Europe’s top prize. I am backing a home win in what is bound to be a memorable evening.
Prediction 3-1 – A home win is at odds of 1.55
Bayern Munich vs PSV Eindhoven
German powerhouse Bayern Munich were given a footballing lesson by a more spirited Atletico Madrid. This is now a must win for the Bavarians as they cannot risk finishing second in the group. PSV were embarrassingly held on the travels to minnows Rostov with the Dutch side now needing a series of difficult victories to stand any chance of qualifying for the next round. Home win predicted.
Prediction 3-0 – A home win @-2 is at odds of 1.93
