The Italians have had an extra day rest over their Spanish counterparts, having drawn away at Fiorentina on Friday night, with Massimo Allegri leaving star man Carlos Tevez on the bench until the last 20 minutes. Atletico Madrid meanwhile, secured a comfortable away win at Elche on the weekend and will be confident of getting a positive result in Turin. Juventus have fallen short in Europe once too many times in recent seasons and this is therefore a make or break game for them.

Liverpool vs Basel
It would be a huge downer for everyone involved with Liverpool if they were to get knocked out of the Champions League at the group stages. After such a terrific season last year, Brendan Rodgers’ side have endured a miserable campaign thus far and slumped to a goalless draw at home to Sunderland on Saturday. The Reds have missed Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge tremendously but I’m backing Mario Balotelli to come good against Basel and fire Liverpool into the knock out stages.

Galatasaray vs Arsenal
The bandwagon calling for Wenger’s head has gained momentum in recent weeks following a disappointing start to the season. The Gunners were defeated once again this season when they lost at Stoke after conceding three goals in a disastrous first half. Angry fans confronted Arsene Wenger at Stoke on Trent station following that loss and although they have already qualified for the next round of the Champions League the pressure is certainly on the Arsenal boss going into this clash in Turkey. Barcelona vs PSG
With both clubs already qualified for the next round, this encounter at the Nou Camp will decide who tops Group F. Following their victory over the Catalans in the reverse fixture, PSG only need a draw to finish as Group winners but this will be a tough ask against a Barcelona side who hammered Espanyol 5-1 at the weekend. Messi bagged yet another hat trick against their city rivals and Thiago Silva and Co will need to be at their very best to contain the little magician.

Roma vs Manchester City
This is a do or die clash for Manchester City.
