Schalke vs Arsenal
Arsenal’s form has stuttered of late as they succumbed to three losses in five games in all competitions. One of these losses includes a 2-0 drabbing at the Emirates agaisnt the same opposition. Wenger really has his work cut out and will need all his experience to rally his team in order to avoid another defeat and risk not qualifying for the knock-out stages.
Milan vs Malaga
Milan have finally found their feet and Allgeri will see this fixture as an important point in their season in which they move forward both domestically and in Europe. While they lost by the slimmest of margins a few weeks ago on their travels agaisnt Malaga, Milan should just have enough to beat the visitors who are not as desperate to win all three points.
Manchester City vs Ajax
Roberto Mancini and his men were handed a footballing lesson in round 3 by the former European powerhouse from Amsterdam. This is a do or die match for the Blues and should they fail to qualify they will come under serious pressure which might jeopardise their entire season and lead to the end of Mancini’s reign.
Chelsea vs Shakhtar
The reigning European champions were humbled in Ukraine several weeks ago as their Brazilian inspired front line swept Chelsea aside and now have a great chance of progressing to the next round. Chelsea now risk an early knock-out if they fail to secure maximum points. I predict a close encounter which will most likely end in a draw.
Braga vs Manchester United
The Red Devils recovered from two early goals from Braga at Old Trafford to secure three vital points. The Portugese will be desperate to grab atleast a point in this fixture in order to maintain their chances of qualifying for the next round. I predict a highly entertaining, score draw.
