Bayern Munich Vs Arsenal
Bayern Munich welcome Arsenal to The Allianz Arena on Wednesday evening with a comfortable 3-1 lead.
The side from Munich are already playing some tremendous football and will be wondering how much better they can get under the guidance of Pep Guardiola next season.
This Bayern side were cruelly defeated on their own patch by Chelsea in the Final last year and seem like they are on a mission to put things right.
Arsenal look a shadow of the side they have been in recent years and the Champions League is their only chance of silverware this season.
The Gunners will be without the services of influential midfielder Jack Wilshere who has not regained fitness in time to face Bayern.
Can only see this match going one way.
Barcelona vs Milan
The footballing world will tonight have all it’s attention focused on this enthralling fixture, with Europe’s most consistent team over the past decade entertaining European power house AC Milan, who in the previous two decades collected five of these most coveted trophies. With Milan enjoying fantastic domestic form and also a two goal advantage, following a disciplined first leg performance at the San Siro, they will be confident that they have enough to send the Blaugrana packing.
Messi and co must be at their very best, and while breaking through this compact Milan side will be the home sides main challenge, they must also ensure that they are not left overly exposed at the back, since even a solitary away goal might be enough for the Rossoneri to secure qualification.
Manchester United Vs Real Madrid
Football fans around the world will be glued to their television screens when Real Madrid play Manchester United on Tuesday Evening.
United welcome Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford for to first time since his £80m switch to Madrid. The Red Devils are in great form and have no fresh injury concerns following their victory over Norwich at the weekend. Shinji Kagawa is pushing for a place in the team following his well taken hat-trick on Saturday. Fergie is spoilt for choice in the attacking third but United must focus on keeping things tight at the back.
Jose Mourinho has had the perfect preparation for this game having beaten Barcelona twice in the space of a week. Madrid progressed to the Copa Del Rey Final after thrashing their arch rivals at Camp Nou and secured a home victory in La Liga over the weekend. Several key Madrid players were rested on Saturday as Madrid have no realistic chance of winning their domestic League.
Madrid are more than capable of scoring goals away from home as they proved last week. Jose Mourinho knows that a 0-0 draw would see his team eliminated so they must score.
United have also been prolific in front of goal and I am predicting a number of goals in this match.
I expect United to edge a thriller due to their home advantage.
Juventus Vs Celtic
Juventus have hit top form at exactly the right time following some solid league performances and a 3-0 away demolition of Scottish side Celtic in the first leg of the Last 16. Even though Celtic are still flying high in their own domestic competition, truth be told they have little competition following the demotion of eternal rivals Rangers.
Celtic will come to Italy with a point to prove, while Conte will take this opportunity to rest some of his key players for what will be a final push in the coming months for both success in Serie A and Europe.
