Premier League – Big Predictions – Week 37
Chelsea Vs Watford
Chelsea were confirmed as Premier League winners with a 1-0 win away at West Brom on Friday Night Football. The Blues will now be keen to finish the campaign in style infront of their own supporters. Watford lost their fourth straight EPL fixture when they visited Everton on Saturday. Arsenal Vs Sunderland
Arsenal have not given up hope of securing a Top 4 finish just yet. The Gunners have picked up three consecutive EPL victories to put themselves back in the mix to earn Champions League Football next Season. Sunderland have long been relegated from the Premier division and will be playing Championship football next Season. Manchester City Vs West Brom
Manchester City boosted their Champions League hopes with a 2-1 win over Leicester on Saturday. The Citizens were thankful that a late Mahrez penalty was ruled out which saw them bag maximum spoils. Despite their best efforts, West Brom were unable to keep Chelsea at bay on Friday Night Football. Southampton Vs Manchester United
Southampton finally got back to winning ways with a 2-1 away win at Middlesborough over the Weekend. The Saints will be keen to finish the Season in the Top 10 and have a good opportunity to pick up three points when Manchester United visit midweek. The Red Devils have made no secret of the fact that they are targeting European success and are not focused on Premier League commitments. Leicester Vs Spurs
Leicester were unable to find an equaliser after Mahrez had a penalty ruled out for striking the ball twice. The Foxes have been much improved since the dismissal of Claudio Ranieri and will be keen to end the Season on a high note. Spurs have had a terrific campaign but have once again fallen just short of Premier League glory. West Brom Vs Chelsea
West Brom finally ended their run of losing games when they held out for a 2-2 draw when they visited Burnley in Gameweek 36. The Baggies remain in the Top 10 largely due to their excellent form earlier in the Campaign. Chelsea are on the brink of securing the Premier League title in Antonio Conte’s first Season as Manager. Manchester City Vs Leicester
Manchester City got back to winning ways with a 5-0 demolition of Crystal Palace in Gameweek 36. The Citizens saw their Top 4 prospects boosted when Liverpool were unable to beat Bournemouth on Sunday. Leicester City made it back to back wins with a 3-0 win over Watford on Saturday. Bournemouth Vs Burnley
Bournemouth made it three Premier League matches without defeat when they picked up a 2-2 draw on Saturday afternoon. The Cherries will be keen to finish in the Top 10 which would be a terrific result when many Predictions had them battling Relegation. Burnley reached the survival target of 40 points with a 2-2 draw against West Brom in Gameweek 36. The Clarets will be aiming to make it three EPL fixtures unbeaten. Middlesborough Vs Southampton
Middlesborough saw their Relegation confirmed when they were beaten 3-0 by Chelsea on Monday Night Football. Boro have been poor this Season and can have no complaints about their return to The Championship. Southampton had recorded back to back 0-0 draws in recent weeks prior to their defeat against Arsenal on Wednesday. Sunderland Vs Swansea
Sunderland picked up a Premier League victory in Gameweek 36 despite their Relegation being confirmed the previous weekend. The Black Cats are playing for pride but could still have an influence on the rest of the bottom three. Swansea have picked up seven points from a possible nine to boost their hopes of Premier League survival. The Swans will be desperate to pick up maximum points here against Sunderland. Stoke Vs Arsenal
Stoke claimed a point from their trip to Bournemouth when they registered a 2-2 draw. The Potters could yet finish in the Top 10 if they pick up maximum points in this clash. Arsenal will be full of confidence after defeating Manchester United 2-0 on Super Sunday followed by an impressive win at Southampton midweek. Danny Welbeck was on target against his former Club and will hope to lead the line here. The Gunners have still got an outside chance of a Top 4 finish but must win all their matches. Crystal Palace Vs Hull
Crystal Palace were thumped 5-0 when they visited Manchester City on Saturday lunchtime. The Eagles are yet to secure their Premier League survival but one more victory should be sufficient. Hull are four points worse off than their hosts and need to avoid defeat here. The Tigers had a great opportunity to pick up three points against Sunderland last weekend but lost 0-2 at home. West Ham Vs Liverpool
West Ham United picked up a huge 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Friday Night Football. The Hammers are unbeaten in five Premier League games and will be keen to secure a Top 10 finish this Season. Liverpool were favourites to beat Southampton but were unable to deliver three points. The Reds missed a second half penalty and saw the Top 4 ambitions dented when they were held to a 0-0 draw. Spurs Vs Manchester United
Spurs played Friday Night Football at West Ham but were unable to pick up the three points required to close the gap on Chelsea. Pochettino’s side look destined to finish the Season in second place as they did last Season. Manchester United played a much changed side on Sunday which saw The Red Devils lose 2-0.
