Basel Vs Arsenal
Basel host Arsenal on Tuesday looking to secure a place in the Europa League following their elimination from the UEFA Champions League. The Swiss side sit bottom of Group A and need to better the result of Ludogorets. Arsenal will be aiming to finish top of the Group in order to face a Runner Up in the Knock Out stages of the Competition. Away Win at St. Jakob-Park – Back an Arsenal Victory here.
Tottenham Hotspur Vs CSKA Moscow
Spurs have been eliminated from the UCL but would secure Europa League football with a draw or victory on Wednesday evening. Pochettino’s side will be disappointed with their showing in the Champions League this Season and will be desperate to return next year. CSKA have struggled in Group E and know only an away win will see them reach the Europa League. Home Win expected at Wembley – Back a Spurs Victory here.
Real Madrid Vs Borussia Dortmund
Predictions which saw these two sides make light work of UEFA Champions League Group F proved accurate. Neither side has tasted defeat in five outings in the UCL. Madrid will hope home field advantage can give them a victory which will see them top the Group. Dortmund bagged 8 goals in their last Group F fixture and will be full of confidence heading to Madrid. All Square at The Bernabeu – Back a Score Draw here.

Manchester United Vs Feyenoord
The Red Devils welcome current Eredivisie 1 leaders Feyenoord to the Theater of Dreams on Thursday evening in what is a crucial game for Mourinho’s side. United have dropped a number of silly points so far in this campaign and site third in the group on six points. The Dutch side have had a very good start to their domestic season and I am convinced will accept a point if it were offered to them before kick-off . An Important Home Win for Mourinho’s Men- Back a Home Win here.

Sparta Prague Vs Southampton
Both sides go into this game knowing that a point is enough to guarantee them a place in the next round after seeing off the likes of Inter. Considering Southampton’s poor domestic league form the Czech’s might push for a win in order to secure top spot before their tricky trip to Milan in a few weeks time, while the visitors might chose to rest a number of first team players. Score Draw expected- Back a Draw here.

Monaco Vs Tottenham
Monaco go into this game knowing that a win will guarantee them a place in the next round, which is just the second time in over ten years. Spurs are another side who rarely feature in Europe’s elite league and are in serious danger of being knocked out early on as they sit on just four points, knowing nothing but a win can save them. Score Draw expected at The Stade Louis II.
Sporting CP Vs Real Madrid
Sporting are all but out of the Champions League as they trail second place Real Madrid by five points with just two games to go. The visitors travel to Portugal following a superb 0-3 victory over eternal rival Atletico Madrid in which star man Ronaldo scored a fantastic hat trick. This is a must win for Zidane’s side if they have any hope of topping their group. Away Win expected in Portugal.
Leicester City Vs Club Brugge
Despite their poor domestic run of form Leicester have proven to be more than a match for some of Europe’s heavyweights and a win on Tuesday night will see them top their group and should also mean an easy draw in the Last 16. The Belgians have had a tough time and have yet to win a point so far. Home Win expected at King Power Stadium.
Sevilla Vs Juventus
Sevilla might prove to be one of the surprise packages in this years Champions League as they top their group on 10 points and undoubtedly will settle for a point when Italian side Juventus visit on Tuesday night. The Old Lady have slipped up a number of times and now risk finishing second in Group H and much tougher opposition come the Last 16 draw on 12th December . Score Draw expected in Seville.
Arsenal Vs Paris Saint Germain
Despite an awful display, Arsenal will delighted with the late point stolen at Old Trafford over their long standing Premier League rivals on Saturday afternoon. The Gunners sit on equal points with PSG and have enough experience in this competition to know the value of finishing first in their group. The visitors come into this game fresh from a home win over minnows Nantes and sit joint top of the Ligue 1 standings. Home Win expected at The Emirates Stadium.
Napoli Vs Dynamo Kyiv
Napoli have been extremely inconsistent in both their domestic and European commitments as the Neapolitans risk having yet another disappointing season. The visitors are definitely the weakest link in their group and have yet to win a game. This is a must win for the Italian side. Home Win expected at the San Paolo.
Borussia Moenchengladbach Vs Manchester City
Borussia Moenchengladbach shot themselves in the foot a few weeks ago when they were held at home by Celtic to all but rule them out of qualification into the next round. Manchester City came from behind to down European powerhouse Barcelona 3-1 in the last round in what was a thrilling game of football. This will be a close game but I reckon Pep Guardiola can lead his side to victory. Away win expected.
Atletico Madrid Vs PSV Eindhoven
Atletico are the only side in this competition to boast a 100% record as Simeone will demand an immediate reaction following his side’s embarrassing 0-3 home loss to eternal rivals Real Madrid on Saturday night. PSV have been very poor so far in this season securing just one point from their opening four games. Home Win expected at The Vicente Calderon.
UEFA Europa League – Week 3 – Predictions
Manchester United Vs Fenerbahce
Manchester United face Group A leaders Fenerbahce in what is a must win for Mourinho’s side following a a lackluster performance over Ukrainian side Zorya in which a lone Ibrahimovic goal spared his side’s blushes. Turkish side Fenerbahce will be pleased with their home win over Feyenord which saw them climb up to first in the standings. Following their positive performance versus Liverpool I predict the Red Devils can win this. Comfortable home win at Old Trafford – Back a Manchester United Victory here.
Roma Vs Austria Wien
Roma’s solid domestic form continued as they downed fellow title challengers Napoli to move into second in the Serie A standings. The Romans sit on equal points with the visitors in what is a crucial game for both these sides who are both sitting on four points. I can’t see anything but a home win here. Home win expected at The Olimpico – Back a Roma Victory here.
Inter Vs Southampton
Inter have been through a very poor run of form on both the domestic and European front and have not won a game now in over a month. This is a must win for Frank De Boer’s men should they intend to remain in the competition while Southampton will undoubtedly be looking to exploit the problems in the Nerazzurri side are currently facing. The English side will fancy their chances against this stumbling Inter side however I reckon a draw is on the cards. Back a draw at the San Siro HERE.
UEFA Europa League – Week 2 – Predictions
Manchester United Vs Zorya
Manchester United face Zorya from Ukraine hoping to get their European campaign back on track. A disappointing defeat in Feyenoord has left United bottom of UEFA Europa League Group A heading into this clash. Zorya picked up a draw in their first Europa League clash against Fenerbache but will find life more difficult at The Theatre of Dreams. Nothing but three points will satisfy Jose Mourinho infront of United’s own fans. Comfortable home win at Old Trafford – Back a Manchester United Victory here.
Ajax Vs Standard Liege
Ajax got their Europa League campaign off to a winning start with a lively clash away in Greece. The Dutch side picked up a 1-2 away victory which featured three red cards and a missed penalty. Standard Liege netted early when Celta Vigo visited but were unable to hold on to their advantage and settled for a share of the Spoils in Week 1. Ajax will enter this clash as clear favourites. Home win expected at The Amsterdam Arena – Back an Ajax Victory here.
Hapoel Beer Sheva Vs Southampton
Hapoel Beer Sheva upset many Predictions by picking up an impressive 0-2 win at European giants Inter in Week 1. The Israeli side next face Southampton who also picked up a comfortable victory in their opening Europa League fixture. The Saints have won two consecutive Premier League outings and will be confident they can cause an upset here. Away win expected at The Turner Stadium – Back a Southampton Victory here.
CSKA Moscow vs Tottenham
CSKA Moscow showed great character to come back from two goals down and hold Bayer Leverkusen to a draw. Spurs showed their Champions League inexperience in Round 1 as they failed to make the most of their chances and possession only to be beaten by Monaco at White Hart Lane. The Londoners have the odds stacked against them now and I reckon they have enough in them to snatch a point in Moscow..
Borussia Dortmund vs Real Madrid
Borussia Dortmund have had a great start to their season sitting second in the Bundesliga and first in their Champions League group after a outstanding 0-6 win over Legia Warsaw in the first Round of matches. Reigning champions Real Madrid are enjoying life under Zinedine Zidane sitting top of the table in La Liga, despite relying on two very late goals to beat Sporting Lisbon 2-1 several weeks ago. I predict an exciting encounter which will end all square.
Leicester City vs FC Porto
Despite a poor start to their domestic campaign, reigning Premier League champions Leicester were superb in their Champions League debut, comfortably beating Danish side Club Brugge 0-3. FC Porto were undoubtedly left frustrated after their first round home draw to Danish side FC Koebenhavn. The Portuguese will expect to comfortably qualify from this group though I am backing a home win.

Dinamo Zagreb vs Juventus
As expected Dinamo Zagreb were pummeled in their opening round fixture in Lyon as the Croatian side stand little chance of getting past the group stages. Despite their best efforts Juventus were extremely frustrated by a stubborn Sevilla side in Turin and this a must win for Allegri’s men.
Prediction – 0-2 – A win is at odds of 1.25 – click here to benefit from a FREE 100% BONUS from BET365
Arsenal vs Basel
Arsene Wenger will be pleased with the spirit his men showed in Paris as they scored in the last 15 minutes to rescue a point over PSG. Basel also drew their first game of the group stages at home to lowly Ludogorets Razgrad. I can’t see anything but a home win here.
Napoli vs Benfica
Napoli fans were chanting Arkadiusz Milik’s name well into the early hours of the morning after his brace earned three vital points for the Partnepoi in Kiev. Benfica were held at home by Turkish side Besiktas and I reckon the Italians will prove too strong for the visitors in Naples.
Celtic vs Manchester City
Scottish champions Celtic were at the end of seven unanswered goals when they played at the Nou Camp several weeks ago. Brendan Rodger’s side face another uphill challenge when Manchester City make the journey north on Wednesday night. Pep Guardiola’s men are brimming with confidence and I have no doubt they will win comfortably..
Atletico Madrid vs Bayern Munich
Undoubtedly the most anticipated fixture of round 2 is between these two European heavyweights, both with three points after their respective opening round victories. Atletico have yet to find their rhythm this season and have dropped a number of silly points in their domestic league. Bayern Munich have started their domestic campaign just where they left off in previous seasons i.e. completing dominating, winning their first 5 games and scoring 15 goals and only conceding one in the process. I predict a great game of football which will end in an away win.

UEFA Europa League – Week 1 – Predictions
Feyenoord Vs Manchester United
Feyenoord host Manchester United on Thursday evening and will be keen to extend a fantastic run of form which has seen them win five straight matches. Former Liverpool player Dirk Kuyt was on the scoresheet on Saturday and will hope to cause United problems. The Red Devils travel to Holland following a disappointing defeat when Manchester City visited on Saturday. Jose Mourinho will need to lift his side’s morale quickly but will face a stern test here. All square in Feyenoord – Back a score draw here.
Southampton Vs Sparta Prague
Southampton have got off to a slow start in the Premier League and have acquired just two points from their first four outings. The Saints have European football on the menu this Season but are without Ronald Koeman who moved to Everton despite Southampton’s excellent 6th place finish. Sparta Prague are 2nd in their domestic League following a disappointing 2-2 draw with Mlada Boleslav on Saturday. European football could kick-start Southampton’s campaign. Home win at St Marys – Back a Southampton Victory here.
Inter Vs Hapoel Be’er Sheva
Inter Milan are no longer the European Giants they once were and find themselves playing in the Europa League following a disappointing Season. Inter picked up a good away win on Sunday and will be looking for all three points here. Hapoel Be’er Sheva narrowly missed out on a Champions League berth when they were beaten by Celtic over two legs in the Qualifying round. The Israeli League Leaders have won three of their last four and have conceded just once in 360 minutes of Football. Home win expected at The San Siro – Back an Inter Victory here.
